Senior Chaplain John Gough

Chaplain John Gough is the founder and president of the H.A.R.T. Center of Bell County Inc. The mission of the H.A.R.T. Center is to provide to individuals with special needs the benefits of affordable horse riding therapy. To provide children and other individuals who have Autism, Muscular Dystrophy, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Emotional and physical Abuse or Post-Surgical Rehabilitation or any others who may have special needs a service which will help improve confidence and self esteem regardless of the individual's social or financial capabilities.

John is very good with children! John doing what he loves and what he does best The tack room was constructed of used lumber picked up here and there! This Stand is used to help children mount the horses safely Even young adults use the stand The horses used at the center come in all sizes for all needs Everyone wears a helment when riding at the center "Safty First" .... .... Members of the staff check and rechecked everything before children go for a ride The mounting stand is used for safty reasons It is easy to tell the children who have been around horses a lot As you can see the stand serves it's purpose very well This young man is no stranger around horses .... As you can see all the horses are very gentle at the center The Boy Scouts help out at the center as volunteers A few more of the horses at the center ..... Some of the horses where getting new horse shoes Horse shoes are heated and shaped right on site Putting on new horse shoes This horse was having a little fun while being shoed This work is a lot harder than it looks This rig has everything needed for shoeing horses Some of the children really enjoyed watching this guy at work John always finds time to talk with children Hey folks baby Drew had to get in the pictures to!
